Sunshine Sam is committed to supporting the community and raising money to support charitable organizations!

Sip & Shop

The concept of a Sip & Shop is very simple. We open Sunshine Sam in the evening for a private shopping party, with the goal of raising money for a not-for-profit organization, like a local school. Guests stock up on gifts that they need for birthday party season, while Sunshine Sam provides the “Sips” AND donates 15% of sales from that evening to the predetermined organization. Most importantly, relationships are built, and it’s a fun two-sided community fundraising effort between Sunshine Sam and a cause near and dear to YOU!

Other Ways in which we Give Back

We donate gift baskets to schools, the YMCA and our local park for their annual fundraisers. We have an in-store crayon-recycling program. We collaborate with the Girl Scouts.

GIVING BACK FROM SEASONS PAST

highlights from the winter 2017 season:

Sunshine Sam Partnered with The New Jersey Community Development Corporation for their Holiday Gift and Food Drive during Christmas. Along with the help of our generous customers, 50 toys were collected and distributed in one week.

We opened the store after hours for a relaxed evening of shopping just for parents of Shoresh Pre-School. 15% of sales that evening were donated to the school.

We donated gift baskets to the following not-for-profit organizations:

Sunshine Sam supported the Lulu & Leo Fund through Super Artist Day
For the second year in a row, we partnered with Seedling to provide Halloween gift bags filled with toys to children with food allergies.
